2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. Pursuant to the summons issued by this Court, Mr.T.R.Sivadas, Inspector of Police, Vaimedu Police Station, Nagapattinam District is present today.
