Prayer: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the Representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2024 with regard to conduct the annual festival in the year 2024 in the Arulmigu Karunakara Perumal Temple, Arulmighu Paradesi Arumugasami Temple, Arulmighu Karunakara Dharmaraja Temple in Kottupakkam Village, and requesting further to give police protection to them to conduct the festival without any interference by Melacherry Villagers as per the Decree and Judgment of Permanent Injunction dated 29.04.2009 in O.S.No.108/2007, Sub Court Cheyyar.

O R D E R

This petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the Representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2024 with regard to conduct the annual festival in the year 2024 in the Arulmigu Karunakara Perumal Temple, Arulmighu Paradesi Arumugasami Temple, Arulmighu Karunakara Dharmaraja Temple in Kottupakkam Village, and requesting further to give police protection to them to conduct the festival without any interference by Melacherry Villagers as per the Decree and judgment of permanent injunction dated 29.04.2009 in O.S.No.108/2007, Sub Court Cheyyar.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the prayer sought in this petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition

is dismissed as infructuous.
