This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner against the threats of the de facto complainant.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner sent a representation to the first respondent police by seeking police protection against the second respondent, who is causing threat to her.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that so far the alleged representation of the petitioner was not reached to the first respondent police. 5.
It is learnt that the petitioner had sent a representation through post and that was not yet received by the first respondent police. So 2/4
the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh representation by making her appearance in person. On receipt of such representation, the first respondent police is directed to conduct appropriate enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law.

With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
