This Court, by order dated 23.01.2023 directed the Wakf Tribunal to dispose of A.A.No.13 of 2019, A.A.No.14 of 2019 and A.A.No.34 of 2019 pending on its file within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Subsequently, the Wakf Tribunal by its letter Dis.No.90/2023 dated 10.08.2023 sought for extension of time by another three months.

2. The Chairman of Wakf Tribunal in letter dated 10.08.2023 submitted that the matter was posted for arguments on 02.08.2023 and thereafter, the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board filed an amendment application to amend the written statement. Therefore, he sought for extension of time by another three months.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons given in the letter of the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Wakf Tribunal dated 10.08.2023, this Court is inclined to extend the time by three months from today. 24.08.2023 nr https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
