Respondent(s) PRAYER This civil revision petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the trial Court in O.S.No.110/2022 dispose the above suit and the interlocutory applications in I.A.No.8 of 2024 in the time bounded manner pending on the file of District Munsif Court at Vellore and grant such other relief under the circumstances of the case.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of IA.No.8/2024 and OS.No.110/2022 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Vellore. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs R. T. Sundari, states that the application in I.A.No.8/2024 has been taken out for impleading of new parties, and despite a counter having been filed as early as 02.04.2024, the said application has not yet been disposed of, and the suit is also being kept pending. 3.Considering the limited relief sought for, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the elections are due for the 1st defendant in November of this year, and the very purpose of the suit would be defeated if the trial is not taken up and the suit is disposed of on its merits.

4.In the light of the above, I am inclined to direct the District Munsif Court, Vellore , to dispose of IA.No.8/2024 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter expedite trial and

dispose of the suit in OS.No.110/2022 and considering the fact that PW.1 is already in the witness box, the suit may be disposed of on merits on or before 31.10.2025.
