ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 01.03.2016 and file an F.I.R. on the basis of the same, within a time frame.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. The petitioner has given a complaint dated 01.03.2016 to the Commissioner of Police, Chennai and since no action was taken on his complaint, he has approached this Court.
This Court directs the petitioner to appear before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch and lodge a fresh complaint with the same contents as on 01.03.2016 and on such complaint being given, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, is directed to assign the complaint to a competent Officer for investigation, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
as the complaint discloses serious offences, which require a thorough probe.
With the above direction, this petition is closed. Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to the Deputy Commissioner, CCB, Chennai.
