By order dated 07.01.2010, O.P.No.47 of 2009 was allowed by granting a succession certificate to the first petitioner in respect of the securities described in the schedule to the petition. By this application, the applicants seek an extension of the succession certificate to cover the securities held by their late father and mother in three other companies.
2. In order to establish the claim to extension, the applicants adduced evidence by examining the first applicant as P.W.1. As evidence of title to the securities, the applicants exhibited the relevant share certificates as Exs.P1 and P2. As evidence of the debt by way of amounts remitted in the S.B.Account, the applicants exhibited Ex.P3. The consent affidavits of the second and third applicants are on record as Exs.P5 and P6. Based on the evidence adduced, the applicants are entitled to an extension of the succession certificate granted earlier. Accordingly, this application is 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

rna allowed by granting an extension of the succession certificate in favour of the first applicant so as to also cover the securities described in the schedule to the Judge's summons. As a corollary, the first applicant shall be entitled to collect the said securities, receive interest accruals and dividends thereon, and negotiate and transfer the same.
