PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.18 of 022 in the file of the respondent Police and proceed further to prosecute the accused as early as possible.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.18 of 2022 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Chengalpattu.

2. The learned Government Advocate submits that the case has been transferred to Commissionerate, Tambaram on 16.03.2023 and the investigation will be completed within a period of three months.

3. Recording the same, this Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissionerate, Tambaram to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.
