ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 20.03.2016 and file an F.I.R. on the basis of the same, within a time frame.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. On a reading of the complaint dated 20.03.2016, this Court is of the view that the respondent police may not have jurisdiction to investigate the case, as the accused had operated from Tamil Nadu, more specifically from Coimbatore. 4.
Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore and on such complaint being lodged, the Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore, is directed to assign the complaint to a competent Officer, since the allegations are indeed very serious and require a thorough investigation by the police.
