This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint and file an FIR on the basis of the complaint dated 09.02.2016 in C.No.584/COP/Visitors/2016 within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 09.02.2016, this Court does find sufficient materials for the police to register an FIR, as the allegations are indeed very serious, inasmuch the accused appears to be working in a syndicate to lure bachelors into marriage and cheat them by false representation. Hence, the respondent police is directed to register an FIR in accordance with law.
