This Criminal Original Petition is filed alleging that the police is frequently summoning him on the complaint given by one Venkatesan. 1/4

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that in connection with the complaint regarding chit fund fraud, the petitioner was summoned for enquiry. However, the petitioner has not turned up for enquiry. If he appears for enquiry, the complaint will be enquired and necessary action will be taken in accordance with law. The petitioner, to evade enquiry, has come before this Court alleging police is harassing him. In fact, two summons were issued under Section 91 Cr.P.C., but the petitioner has not turned up for enquiry.
