2. The petitioner filed a Writ Petition seeking direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2016 and 12.07.2016. This 1/3

Court passed an order on 12.01.2017, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2016 and 12.07.2016, in accordance with law. Though the order was passed on 12.01.2017, the respondents by a proceeding dated 03.03.2021, passed an order stating that the request of the petitioner granting patta for an extent of 1200.5 Sq.ft. in Survey No. 9, has to be rejected.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner though refers to the proceeding by which an appeal preferred by the petitioner's predecessor in interest went in his favour, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the petitioner's submissions in the contempt petition. Though there is some delay, this Court is of the opinion that mere delay may not lead to inference of wilful disobedience in this case.

4. Based on the submission of learned Additional Government Pleader, reporting compliance, this Contempt Petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the respondent, in the manner known to law.
