ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the fourth respondent to transfer the patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition in the name of the petitioner from the name of the petitioner's mother-in-law viz., Singaravalli within a time frame to be fixed by this Court based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2024.

2. The petitioner has filed supporting documents and claims that she is the owner of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. She seeks for transfer of patta in her name for the property from the name of her mother-in-law viz., Singaravalli. Till date, counter has not been filed by the respondents before this Court. Since the representation of the petitioner dated 18.01.2024, seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner, has not been considered, this writ petition has been filed.

3. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's

representation, seeking for transfer of patta for the said property in her name from her mother-in-law's name Singaravalli is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the sixth and seventh respondent as well as any other third party whom the fourth respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The petitioner has also placed on record before this Court the proceedings of the third respondent dated 10.02.2024, transferring the application of the petitioner seeking for transfer of patta to the fourth respondent for passing final orders.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, seeking for transfer of patta in her name.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the fourth respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2024, seeking for transfer of patta in her name from the name of her mother-in-law viz., Singaravalli for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the sixth and seventh respondent as well as any other third party whom the fourth respondent deems it fit to enquire.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
