ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 21.01.2001 and 06.07.2015 with regard to claim of the petitioner's appointment on compassionate grounds.

2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that his father, who was working in the Respondent Department died in harness on 01.05.2000 and the petitioner made a representations on 21.02.2001 and 06.07.2015 seeking appointment on compassionate appointment, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. Considering the limited relief as sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 21.02.2001 2/4

and 06.07.2015 with regard to compassionate appointment and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
