This application is filed by the applicant seeking to extend the time period for conclusion of the arbitral proceedings by a period of one year from 30.09.2019.

This Court, vide order dated 18.12.2017 in O.P.No.755 of 2017, had appointed Hon'ble Mr.Justice R.Balasubramanian, a retired Judge of this Court as Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the petitioner and the respondent. It is stated that now the matter is posted for cross examination of the respondent's side evidence. As the mandate of the tribunal has expired on 29.09.2019, the parties have prayed for extension of time for conclusion of arbitration proceedings.

With the consent of both learned counsel, time is extended by four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completion of the Arbitral proceedings and for passing the award. The parties are directed to co-operate with the Arbitrator for passing of the order as expeditiously as possible. 5.
