O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent-police to register a case on the complaint dated 08.02.2016 given by the petitioner and to expedite the investigation in accordance with law.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. On a complaint lodged by one Narayanan against Chitiram Chit Company, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.1 of 2016 for the offences under Section 402, 406, 120(b) of I.P.C., and Section 5 of TNPID Act. This https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner who has also invested money in the same financial establishment, has lodged the present complaint.
4. Since already an FIR. has been registered, no second FIR., can be registered for the same incident and therefore, the complaint given by this petitioner would be treated as 161 statement and the petitioner will be enlisted as witness. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
