By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representations dated 01.04.2025, 08.05.2025, 04.06.2025 and 25.06.2025 to change the petitioner's post from Junior Assistant to Revenue Assistant based on the circular dated 25.04.2025 in Na.Ka.No.19732/2023/MA2 and letter dated 12.07.2025 in 2/6
Na.Ka.No.43150/2023/K3 issued by the 2nd Respondent and consequential circular dated 24.06.2025 in Na.Ka.No.1767/2025/C1 issued by the 3rd respondent.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as Junior Assistant in Mettur Municipality on 22.03.2018 and he was transferred and posted as Junior Assistant in Namakkal Municipality. It is the submission of the petitioner that the erstwhile Namakkal Municipality upgraded as Namakkal Corporation vide G.O.Ms.No.105, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (Election) Department, dated 10.08.2024. Therefore, he has given a representation to the 3rd respondent on 25.06.2025 to consider him from the post of Junior Assistant to Revenue Assistant and such representation is pending with the 3rd respondent.
5. At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader 3/6
appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent would submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation according to it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 08.08.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 4/6
