This sub application is filed by the petitioner seeking to accept the cause title in the above contempt petition.
2. Heard Mr. Vijay Anand, learned counsel appearing for the applicant / writ petitioner, who submitted that this court vide order dated 23.03.2021 in WP.No.24516 of 2014, directed the Government to pass appropriate orders, with regard to the charges framed against the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and the said order has not been complied with, till date. In the said writ petition, the petitioner arrayed the Joint Commissioner (CT), Coimbatore, who issued the charge memo against him, alone as respondent. Whereas the order passed by this court has to be complied with by the Secretary to Government, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, Secretariat, Chennai. Therefore, the petitioner has arrayed both the parties as respondents in the contempt petition filed for the alleged non-compliance of the said order passed by this court.
3. Mrs.Vasantha Mala, learned counsel taking notice for the respondents has no objection in ordering this petition.
