Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to issue orders approving the appointment of the petitioner Mrs. D.Sofia working as B.T. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to issue orders approving the appointment of the petitioner Mrs. D.Sofia working as B.T. Asst (English) in the fifth respondent Sacred Heart Girls Higher Secondary School Kilacheri - 631 402 w.e.f 04.03.2019 with all service and monetary benefits.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was promoted and appointed as B.T. Assistant [English] in the fifth respondent school on 04.03.2019 and proposal for approval of the appointment of the petitioner has been sent to the fourth respondent on 06.03.2019. However, the proposal has been returned on the ground that there are four surplus B.T. Assistant posts in the School. It is the contention of the learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner that the four surplus teachers have been deputed to some other school and now there is no surplus teacher. Hence, the fifth respondent again resubmitted the proposal on 16.06.2023. But the same has not been considered by the respondents 1 to 4. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. In such view of the matter, the respondents 1 to 4 are directed to consider the proposal resubmitted by the fifth respondent and pass Orders on the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
