PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first and second respondents to provide necessary police protection to the life of the petitioner and his family members to live his house at Kadai Veedhi, Mangalore Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District.

ORDER

The petitioner herein, who is occupying a disputed land, wants police protection for his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land.

2. The colourable request of the petitioner to have protection for his disputed illegal occupation cannot be granted, more so, when the suit in respect of the property is pending in O.S. No.70 of 2019 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi. If at all, there is any disturbance to peaceful possession by unlawful manner or otherwise, it is always open to the petitioner to approach the Court where the suit is pending.
