The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to the first respondent to issue a passport to the petitioner on the application dated 31.03.2022 bearing reference No.MA2074091442722.
2. The case of the petitioner is that since the petitioner's passport bearing No.M 6704938 had expired on 13.02.2015, he made an application dated 31.03.2022 seeking issuance of new passport before the concerned authority. Even after conducting enquiry, the petitioner was not issued with a passport. Hence the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid Page No.2 of 6
relief.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
5. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2022 and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
