PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2024 requesting necessary action to mutate the revenue records to reflect the ownership of the land in S.No.654/2, Ammundi Village, in the name of "Morning Star Aided School" and other reliefs and to pass orders within the time frame fixed by this Court.

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2024 seeking mutation of revenue records in the name of petitioner's school in respect of land in S.No.654/2 situated at Ammundi Village, Vellore District. 2/6

According to the petitioner, 5 acres of land in S.No.654/2 situated at Ammundi Village, Vellore District was granted in favour of the petitioner's School by Collector of North Arcot vide his proceedings in R2 in 20815/53 dated 10.11.1953. The petitioner's School has been functioning in the above mentioned land all along. Suddenly, the Village Administrative Officer of Ammundi Village and 3rd respondent herein claimed that the above mentioned property was allotted for some third party. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the 1st respondent on 06.09.2024 mentioning the grant made in favour of the petitioner's School and mutation of revenue records in favour of the petitioner and the same has not been considered by the 1st respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Mr.G.Krishna Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.09.2024 will be considered by the 1st respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.09.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. In view of the fact, the petitioner's School is functioning in the above mentioned land, the Status Quo as on today, shall be maintained by the Respondents-Authorities till the disposal of the representation of the petitioner dated 06.09.2024.
7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed. 15.10.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking order:Yes/No dm 4/6
