Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give a police protection for the petitioner and his employees life and limb as well as for running the crusher unit situated at Kavulpalayam, Thuraimangalam Village, Perambalur District based on the representation dated 07.09.2023 in accordance with law.

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2023.

2. Heard Mr.Subash, learned Senior counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, current paper No.57 of 2023 has been assigned and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2023 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2023 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
