Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 & 4 to constitute Committees as provided under section 34-A of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 for fixation of fair rent in respect of lease of lands belonging to temples under the control of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 & 4 to constitute Committees as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

provided under Section 34-A of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 for fixation of fair rent in respect of lease of lands belonging to temples under the control of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

2.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that a committee has been constituted for fixation of fair rent in respect of lease of lands belonging to temples as prayed for in the writ petition. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration. 3.In the light of the above, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
