Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to take proper steps on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he joined as Leprosy Inspector in Government Hospital, Tiruttani, in the year 1988. Thereafter, he had been working as the Food Safety Officer from 2011 to 2018 at Puzhal in Tiruvallur District. While he was in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
service, he was placed under suspension on 26.09.2018 on the ground that he was involved in a criminal case. The suspension order was not revoked and therefore, the petitioner has made a representation dated 12.09.2019 to the respondents. However, till date, the respondents have not revoked the suspension order. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the reasonable time.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court hereby directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
