A.No.4917 of 2022 in C.S.(Comm. Div.)No.201 of 2022 M.SUNDAR, J., Captioned application has been taken out inter alia under Order VI Rule 17 of 'the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act V of 1908)' [hereinafter 'CPC' for the sake of convenience and clarity].

2. In this order, parties shall be referred to by their respective ranks in the main suit for the sake of convenience and clarity.

3. Ms.Thanga Vadhana Balakrishnan, learned counsel on record for sole plaintiff and Mr.S.R.Sundar, along with Mr.S.Bhargavan, learned counsel on record for sole defendant are before this Commercial Division.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for plaintiff that the captioned application has become necessary owing to inadvertent error that had crept in qua description of parties. Learned counsel for defendant does not oppose the application.

5. To be noted, main suit itself has been concluded and compromise decree is being made today.

6. In the light of the narrative thus far, captioned application is ordered as prayed for. Learned counsel for plaintiff to carry out necessary and consequential amendment within a fortnight from today i.e., on or before 28.11.2022.

7. Captioned application ordered as prayed for. There shall be no order costs.
