Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.09.2024 in accordance with law and to cancel the patta bearing No.7 and issue Patta in the name of the petitioner for the lands to an extent of 12 cents comprised in S.No.376/1 at Kavithandalam Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

Despite the private respondents, viz., respondents 6 and 7 were served, they have not entered appearance either in person nor represented through any other Counsel. However, considering the nature of relief that is to be granted herein, notice to the respondents 6 and 7 is dispensed with.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.09.2024 in accordance with law and to cancel the patta bearing No.7 and to issue Patta in the name of the petitioner for the lands to an extent of 12 cents, comprised in S.No.376/1 at Kavithandalam Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the Official Respondents, viz., Respondents 1 to 5 submits that, if such representation is pending, the respondents 1 to 5 shall have no objection to consider the same, but, in accordance with law within the period, as directed by this Court.

Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case as projected by the petitioner, either in this Writ Petition or representation, disposes of the Writ Petition with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.09.2024, if the same has not yet disposed of, after issuing notice to the private respondents, viz., respondents 6 and 7 and also the petitioner, and thereafter, shall dispose of the representation on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight 3/5

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
