This petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent viz., the Sub Inspector of Police, Kariyalur Police Station, Kariyalur, Villupuram District to register a case and investigate the matter lodged before him on 03.03.2016 and to file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, on the complaint dated 03.03.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed as "civil in nature". A copy of the Closure Report has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.
