ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the FIR based on the complaint, dated 03.10.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had given a complaint against one Durairaj and others on the allegation of cheating. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent Police did not register the case so far, though he is being called for enquiry repeatedly.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, preliminary enquiry has been conducted in C.No.

H2/3268/021325/SPGDP/22. There is a counter complaint given by the defacto complainant on 22.09.2022 against the petitioner and in which the preliminary enquiry has been conducted in C.No.H155/020632/2022.

5. Since both the parties made allegation against each other, I feel it is appropriate for the 2nd respondent to conduct the enquiry simultaneously and do the needful in accordance with law. It is the duty of the police to expedite the enquiry and finish the same within a period of two weeks and let the petitioner to know about the result of the same.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
