Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 08.02.2019 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same, insofar as rejection of the request for vacancy remission is concerned and direct the 1st respondent to grant vacancy remission in property tax in respect of the petitioner's property tax assessment (07-088-02425-000 / Old Property ID AMB60346) relating to the property situated at S.F.No.304/1A and 306/1B1, C.T.H.Road, Padi, Chennai-50 from 1st Half year of 2017-2018 till subject property is occupied for its functioning. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the Property Tax Tribunal. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Granting such liberty, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
