Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.PC, praying to withdraw the C.C.No.88 of 2013 from the file of learned Metropolitan Magistrate (Special Land Grabbing Court II) at Periamet, Chennai and transfer the same to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court (Central Crime Branch), George Town, Chennai for trial.

O R D E R
The present petition has been filed seeking to withdraw the C.C.No.88 of 2013 from the file of learned Metropolitan Magistrate (Special Land Grabbing Court II) at Periamet, Chennai and transfer the same to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court (Central Crime Branch), George Town, Chennai for trial.
2. By consent of both sides, the Criminal Original Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. It is stated that the issue connected with the consideration of the Special Court for Land Grabbing Case has been challenged and pending before the Hon'ble Apex Court. In view of the same, the Special Court, in the instant case, has not proceeded with the petitioner's case. This Court, in various orders, have directed the proceedings before the Special Court to be transferred to the jurisdictional Magistrate for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
purpose of further adjudication. Following the same, this Court is also inclined to order the prayer sought for by the petitioner.
4. In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate (Special Land Grabbing Court II) at Periamet, Chennai to transfer the proceedings in C.C.No.88 of 2013 to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court (Central Crime Branch), George Town, Chennai.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands ordered accordingly.
