(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan, J.) This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 285 days in filing the above appeal against the fair and decreetal order dated 25.10.2023 by the Family Court, Thiruvallur, in HMOP No.116 of 2022.

2.In the affidavit filed, it had been contended that the appellant had to take care of two minor children and two aged parents and was unable to engage counsel to file the appeal. After arranging finances, the appeal was filed with a delay.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the respondent also.

4.In view of the reasons stated, the delay stands condoned. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and print the name of the counsel for the respondent when the appeal is posted for admission.
