This petition has been filed to quash the FIR.No.649 of 2018 pending on the the file of the 1st respondent herein.
2. Based on a compromise entered into between the defacto complainant and the co-accused A1 to A4, this Court had quashed the proceedings in Crime No.649 of 2018, by an order dated 23.09.2019 passed in Crl.O.P.No.23783 of 2019. The petitioner herein apprehends that since his name finds place in the FIR as an accused, he has filed this present petition.
3. Since this Court had earlier quashed the entire proceedings in Crime No.649 of 2018, the respondent police may not be in a position to investigate the matter, insofar as the petitioner herein is concerned. While that being so, the petitioner need not have any apprehension of an investigation being conducted, insofar as the petitioner herein is concerned in connection with Crime No.649 of 2018.
