O R D E R
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 468, 471, 420 r/w 511 IPC, in Crime No.77 of 2025 seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The allegation against the petitioner is that he produced a fake and 1/5
fabricated documents for the purpose of constructing a Bait Arch in Tirunelveli District. It is further alleged that the petitioner submitted a forged profit and loss account statement, a counterfeit chartered accountant certificate, and a fabricated work completion certificate. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has been falsely implicated, as he had obtained the necessary certificates received from the concerned authorities to participate in the tender for the construction of arch. He further submitted that he is willing to co-operate with the investigation and, therefore, prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner attempted to obtain the contract for constructing a Bait arch, by producing fabricated certificates and hence complaint was lodged by the defacto complainant.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the submissions made on both sides and the 2/5
allegations against the petitioner are borne out by records, and the FIR was registered in April 2025, and since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to certain conditions.

Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready, before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court (For CCB & CBCID Cases), Egmore, Chennai on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only), with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that:
(a) the sureties shall affix their photographs and left thumb impression in the surety bond and the Magistrate may obtain a copy of their Aadhar card or Bank pass Book to ensure their identity;
(b) the petitioner shall report before the respondent police, everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation;
(c) the petitioner shall co-operate with the 3/5
investigation and shall produce any signatures or other connected documents if, specifically required by the investigating officer.
(d) the petitioner shall not tamper with evidence or witness either during investigation or trial; (e) the petitioner shall not abscond either during investigation or trial;
(f) on breach of any of the aforesaid conditions, the learned Magistrate/ Trial Court is entitled to take appropriate action against the petitioner in accordance with law as if the conditions have been imposed and the petitioner released on bail by the learned Magistrate/Trial Court himself as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in P.K.Shaji Vs. State of Kerala [(2005) AIR SCW 5560]; and;
(g) if the accused thereafter absconds, a fresh FIR can be registered under Section 269 of B.N.S.
