Today when the contempt petitions are taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Kumaravel, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has stated that, the direction given by this Court to consider the applications respectively submitted by the parties seeking for patta having been considered was rejected through a common order dated 01.11.2023 and in support of his contention, he has produced a copy of the order dated 01.11.2023 issued by the Tahsildar, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai where after having considered the plea raised by the respective petitioners seeking patta for the land in question it has been rejected on the ground that these are all covered under the Urban Land Ceiling proceedings.
