Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and grant permission to set up a permanent licensed petty Shop Gandhi Nagar, Kalleri Kulam, Panchayat Road at Padur based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2019.

The petitioner being a physically disabled person has sought permission to run a petty shop at Gandhi Nagar, Kalleri Kulam, Panchayat Road at Padur for his livelihood. His representation dated 21.08.2019 has not yet been considered by the 2nd respondent. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner has been forwarded to the Block Development Officer, Thiruporur for consideration. If the petitioner is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

eligible to run the petty shop in the place mentioned, appropriate orders will be passed after making enquiry and field visit. The copy of the communication sent by the Director, Department of person with disability addressed to Block Development Officer vide Na.Ka.No.8727/;kh/jp/e.3-1/2019 dated 30.09.2019 is also furnished by the learned Government Advocate.

3. Recording the process taken by the respondent, this writ petition is disposed with a direction to complete the process of the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
