This petition has been filed to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Pochampally expedite the trial in C.C.No.23/2014 as expeditiously as possible within three months.

2. The petitioner is working as Liner in Government Auto Mobile Workshop, Dharmapuri District, for over 30 years. While so, on 21.8.2011, a criminal case was foisted against him under sections 406, 420, 468, 471, 506(ii) IPC. On completion of investigation, a charge sheet was filed in C.C.No.23 of 2014 on the file of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Pochampally, Dharmapuri District. The case is pending for the past 1 1/2 years before the said Court. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Pochampally, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.23 of 2014 pending on its file and complete the same as early as possible. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
