Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.Gouthamaraj, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the 2/5

petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2025 and consequently direct the respondents to confer time bound promotion to the petitioner as Senior Assistant Engineer - w.e.f.01.10.2007 with arrears and monetary benefits by giving effect to G.O.Ms.No.13 Transport (C1) Department dated 14.01.2000 in the light of the order made in W.A. No.1100/2024 dated 12.07.2024 and the proceedings of the General Manager, Transport Department, Coimbatore Division in 5498/EO1 Tamil Nadu Government Transport (Coimbatore)/ 2023 dated 16.06.2023.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent representation on 18.06.2025 to the respondents 2 and 3 claiming time bound promotion and such representation is pending before them.

4.At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel would submit that the respondents 2 to 4 would consider the petitioner's representation, according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time.

5.In such view of the submission, without going into the merits 3/5

of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the above representation of the petitioner upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
