This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate and to file a final report in Crime No. 202/2015 within the stipulated time frame.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one John Sundararajan and 5 others for the alleged offence under sections 147, 294(b) and 323 IPC on 7.5.2015 and the same was registered in Crime No.202 of 2015 Since no progress has been made in the investigation to file the final report, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.202 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as early as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
