ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner.

It is the case of the petitioner that he is a medical practitioner of repute and that he is being threatened by one B. Ranganathan, who is a sitting M.L.A. and his close aide George Mathew, from time to time and that they are extracting money from him illegally.

Taking into consideration the nature of the allegation made in the petition, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madhavaram and lodge a written complaint and on such written complaint being lodged, the same shall be enquired into and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sufficient police protection be given to the petitioner so that no harm befalls him.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
