PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the respondent-police to call for the records in connection with Crime No.27 of 2012 on the file of the respondent and quash the same.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.27 of 2012.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, investigation has been completed in Crime No.27 of 2012 and final report in PRC.No.50 of 2013 has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vanur, and that the petitioner is not receiving the summons issued by the learned Magistrate.

4. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate for trial and collect the papers under 207 Cr.P.C., since this Court has directed the trial Court to complete the committal proceedings pending in criminal cases expeditiously. Thereafter, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the same.
5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
