This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the S.T.C. No. 2784 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthagamandalam, The Nilgiris.

2.When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that subsequent to the filing of this petition, the case has been transferred and renumbered as S.T.C. No. 431 of 2018 and the petitioners has faced the trial in the said case and were acquitted and produced a copy of the Judgment dated 28.01.2022.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
