ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to take immediate action on the complaint dated 30.03.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. On 07.06.2016, this court passed the following order: " It is seen that this petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 30.03.2016 against her husband Josept Diraviam. The said Joseph Diraviam has filed Crl.OP.No.9757 of 2016 before this Court and the same has been referred to the Mediation Centre.
2. Under such circumstances, Registry is directed to post this Crl.OP. along with Crl.OP.N.9757 of 2016 before the Mediation Centre on 09.06.2016 at 12.30p.m.

3. The petitioner shall appear before the Mediation Centre on the said date and time.
4. The matter shall be listed before this Court, after the mediation proceedings are completed."
From the above, it appears that Joseph Diraviam, the husband of the petitioner, had filed Crl.OP.No.9757 of 2016 before this court for an anticipatory bail and the case is still pending.
4. The Mediation Centre has also sent a report dated 21.06.2016, in which, stated that the parties were not able to arrive at an amicable settlement and therefore, the Mediation proceedings have been closed and the case has been referred back to the Court.
5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to enquire into the complaint dated 30.03.2016 given by the petitioner in CSR No.133/2016 and either register an FIR and take action in accordance with law or close the case, with due intimation to the petitioner.
