This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 227 days in preferring the appeal.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even the Insurance Company also has filed C.M.A.No.2007 of 2017. Therefore, if the delay of 227 days is condoned and the appeal of the petitioner-claimant claiming enhancement of compensation is heard together, no prejudice would be caused to any one.

3. Although the second respondent has entered appearance, none appeared.

4. As the Insurance Company also has filed C.M.A.No.2007 of 2017, being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit, the delay of 227 days is condoned and the civil miscellaneous petition stands allowed.
