ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent Bank to sanction and disburse educational loan of Rs.22,50,000/- (Rupees twenty two lakhs fifty thousand only) to the petitioner for the same academic years 2016 to 2020, as per the fee structure of the institution for his Medicine of Doctor at New Vision University, Georgia, Europe for the year 2016 - 2020.

2. Initially, the matter came up for admission on 11.8.2017. On that date, M/s.Aiyar and Dolia, took notice on behalf of the respondent/Indian Bank and sought time for filing counter. Thereafter, the matter came to be listed on 3.3.2020. On the said date, since there was no representation for the petitioner, in order to give a chance to the petitioner to contest the case, the matter was adjourned to 4.3.2020 and the writ petition came https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to be listed on 6.3.2020. As there was no representation for the petitioner on 6.3.2020, this court has directed the Registry to list the matter under the caption 'For Dismissal' on 11.3.2020.

3. Today, the matter stood posted under the caption 'For Dismissal'. Even then, there is no representation for the petitioner when the matter was taken up for hearing and this court presumes that the petitioner has no interest in conducting the case. In view of the same, this court is constrained to dismiss the writ petition for non prosecution.
