Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2022 to assign any Government grants lands or the land in Survey No.191/2 to an extent of 1.78.0 hectare situated in Pilparuthi Village, pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2022 to assign any Government grants lands or the land in Survey No.191/2 to an extent of 1.78.0 hectare situated in Pilparuthi Village, pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District,

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the official respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner belong to Schedule Caste Community and she is a land less poor. He further submits that any government land which are classified as Depressed class (DC) Lands reserved for Scheduled Case Community or the lands in Survey No.191/2 to an extent of 1.78. hectare situated in Pilparuthi Village, Pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District could be assigned to her. Hence 2/6

he made a representation to the first respondent on 11.08.2022, but the same was not considered. Hence, this writ petition is filed with the aforesaid prayer.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2022 will be considered by the respondent within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

6. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy 3/6

of this order.

7. With the above terms, this present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
