Prayer : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and lay the final report in Crime No.85 of 2022 within the stipulated timed prescribed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.85 of 2022 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.85 of 2022, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
