Petition filed under Section 372 of Indian Succession Act, 1925, seeking Succession Certificate.

2.The Succession Certificate is with respect to the Public Provident Fund maintained by one Mr.Mahesh Kumar Rungta, who died on 22.06.2019. The petitioner is the son of the deceased and the respondent is his daughter. It is stated that their mother is dead and their paternal grand-mother is also dead.

3.After effecting publication, the petitioner was invited to adduce the evidence.

4. The petitioner examined himself as PW-1. The death certificate of his father Mr.Mahesh Kumar Runta was marked as Ex.P-1. The Legal Heirship Certificate was marked as Ex.P-2. The document relating to the Public Provident Fund was marked as Ex.P-3. The consent affidavit of the respondent was marked as Ex.P4.
