The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the second respondent's revision petition dated 27.09.2023 challenging the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Coimbatore dated 28.08.2023, within a time frame to be stipulated by this court.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as first respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she sold a portion of her property in favour of the second respondent. However, the second respondent obtained patta wrongly in his name in respect of the property retained by the petitioner.. Pointing out the same, the petitioner submitted a representation before the Revenue Divisional Officer seeking correction in the patta issued to the second respondent and the same was allowed. Aggrieved by the same, the second respondent filed a revision before the first respondent on 27.09.2023 and the same is pending without any progress. Therefore, the petitioner is 2/4

before this Court.

4. Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the first respondent would submit that the revision petition of the second respondent will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the revision petition filed by the second respondent dated 27.09.2023 and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner as well as second respondent and any other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
