Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to conduct an enquiry into the grant of approval to the illegal Township Project promoted by the 11th respondent company in Padur Village, Kanchipuram District, under Approval No.30/2012 dated 9.10.2012, in file No.416/2009, of the 2nd and 4th respondents herein, based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 21.09.2016, within a reasonable time.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the first respondent, eleventh respondent and also the learned counsel for the other official respondents.

2. Today, when the case was taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the official respondent filed a copy of a letter dated 16.06.2017 of the Additional Secretary (Tech), Housing and Urban Development Department, Secretariat, Chennai - 9, addressed to the petitioner wherein it has been informed that the Commissioner of Town and Country Planning, Chennai has been requested to examine and take necessary action for their side.

3. In view of the above, I direct the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry and dispose the representation of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and pass appropriate order on merits in accordance with law. The petitioner and the parties herein shall be heard by the 1st respondent before passing any order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
